By using Lock In Twin, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Lock In Twin lets two people agree to a weekly goal and hold each other to it. You check in with photos, your twin confirms them, and at the end of each week the app records who met their goal. If someone falls short, the app displays the punishment card the pair agreed to.
This is important. The app does not enforce, collect, transfer, or process anything. Punishment cards — including cards that mention buying someone coffee, sending money through a third-party app, or donating to a charity — are agreements between you and your twin. Lock In Twin has no payment processing of any kind. We never move money, never hold funds, never take a cut, and never verify that a punishment was carried out beyond the photo you choose to upload.
Only agree to punishments you're willing and able to honor. Don't agree to anything unsafe, illegal, or beyond your means. If your twin doesn't pay up, that's between the two of you — we can't and won't intervene.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Lock In Twin. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with a parent or guardian's permission.
You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your phone number secure. Provide accurate information. One person, one account.
You keep ownership of the photos you take in the app. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of running the app — showing it to your twin, putting it in your shared archive, and generating any share images you choose to create. We don't use your photos for advertising, don't make them public, and don't license them to anyone else.
Only upload photos you have the right to share. If other people are visible in your check-in photos, make sure they're okay with it.

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior. You can report any photo, punishment text, or user from within the app, and you can end a pact with someone at any time — ending a pact removes your ongoing connection to that person. We review reports and may remove content or terminate accounts, without notice, for violations of these terms. Reported content may be removed while we review it.
Lock In Twin is an accountability tool, not a coach, trainer, or medical provider. It doesn't assess whether a goal is appropriate for you. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing an exercise routine, and don't pursue a goal that isn't safe for your body or your circumstances. Don't check in while driving.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. We try to keep your archive intact, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you'd hate to lose.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for anything arising from a punishment you agreed to, a dispute with your twin, or an injury sustained pursuing a goal. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you've paid us, which for most users is nothing.
These terms are between you and Lock In Twin, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the app or its content and no obligation to provide support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.
